About Me

For as long as I can remember music has been around me. From my first portable CD player, treasured greatly, to my travels overseas busking and working on music festivals.

Music has always been a massive part of my life. It has guided and opened me up to so many opportunities and experiences.

I have been lucky enough to live solely off playing music and have worked behind the scenes at some of the biggest music and arts festivals in the world.

In sharing my 15 years of playing, listening and working with music, I hope to inspire, educate and help others to find for themselves what I have with music.

Korimako

Korimako are songbirds endemic to Aotearoa, New Zealand. Early descriptions of their song were as exquisitely tuned small bells, hence their colloquial name Bellbird.

Historical accounts of Aotearoa’s birdsong were described as deafening, and anyone who has experienced large groups of Korimako can certainly understand why.

I chose the Korimako as a namesake as I believe that the strength of music lies in our ability to support, connect and create greatness together.
